David is the same person racing to win at Pictionary as he is when sorting a client's mortgage: he wants the best result and he wants it done properly. As Blueprint's Managing Director and a Mortgage Adviser, he brings eight-plus years across mortgage advice and compliance, and that compliance background keeps his work careful as well as quick. He's been named a Top Mortgage Adviser two years running, all while leading a team that included four other top advisers. His approach comes down to taking ownership: admitting mistakes, finding solutions, going the extra mile. The part he loves most is the "light-bulb moment" when a client's plan finally clicks. One of his first clients invited him around for morning tea after settling their new build. Two lessons stuck: new builds don't come with curtains, and a client relationship built properly can last for years. He still measures every new relationship against that first one.
