About Blueprint Finance

Blueprint Finance is a licensed financial advice provider based in Ellerslie, Auckland. Our directors run a team of registered financial advisers, loan writers, and support staff who help over a thousand Kiwi a year navigate mortgages, insurance, and KiwiSaver decisions.

We're accredited with 40+ partners — lenders, insurers, and KiwiSaver providers — so you get genuine choice rather than a single bank's product set. Lenders pay us when a loan settles, which means our mortgage advice is generally free for you.

Who We Are

Blueprint Finance Limited (FSP1006023) holds a licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) to provide financial advice services. Our insurance arm, Blueprint Protect Limited, has its own disclosure statement for insurance-specific advice.

We're a deliberately independent firm — owner-operated and not tied to any single bank, insurer, or KiwiSaver provider. Every adviser holds at minimum a Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services, and most hold relevant degrees on top of that.

It might be the question we hear most, and we love it, because the answer is the whole way we work. We like to think of it as two parts of the same promise.

First, we advise. We start with you, not a product: your goal, your numbers, your timeline. Then we lay out your options across 20+ lenders and insurers in plain language — what each path means for your repayments, your structure, and your plans — and give you a clear recommendation. Then you choose. It's your call, always.

Then, we broker. Once you've chosen, we do the running around: the paperwork, the application, the chasing, and the negotiation. That's partly about the rate and the cash contribution — but just as often it's about the things that never show up on a rate card. Securing a better product. Structuring the lending well. Getting a not-so-tidy application over the line, because we know what each lender needs to see.
